Hello, I am Ryan Rice, Jr., a dedicated and emerging photographer from New Orleans, Louisiana. I am the oldest of four children born to my loving parents, which has allowed me to spend the majority of my 16 years leading, serving, creating, and exercising patience. Even so, I've spent the last 3 years developing a portfolio that focuses on candid, event, and portrait photography. I'd love to explore other styles and techniques of photography to define my niche.

     My journey into photography began with my parents gifting me a cellphone. Subsequently, my great-grandmother gave me her old camera. Most recently, my mom's best friend provided me with a new camera to further develop my skills. This has ultimately unlocked a new way of seeing the world around me. What started as a hobby quickly developed into a creative outlet to cultivate visual storytelling. It allows me to capture the person, the joy, and the authenticity of the moment, through my lens.

     Whether it's a family photo, moments in worship, or the candid shots of life, the more I shoot, the more I love to photograph memories that will bring smiles to faces for years to come. I've included a few snapshots, a visual journal of my journey so far, and its just the beginning!
